The Primordial Rigden embodies the spiritual and
secular vision of enlightened society, which is based on the fundamental
goodness of all beings. Composed by master artist Cynthia Moku under the
guidance of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, this painting conveys the magical heart of
Shambhala--the brilliant and peaceful presence of basic goodness and
enlightened rulership. Above the central figure is Buddha Shakyamuni.
This image is displayed above the main shrine in Shambhala
Centers worldwide.
